Les d\u00e9bits \u00e0 50 ans sont identiques \u00e0 ceux d&#039;origine. Aucun d\u00e9tartrage n&#039;est n\u00e9cessaire. Le diam\u00e8tre reste constant. Les co\u00fbts \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques demeurent inchang\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lorsqu&#039;on compare les tuyaux en acier galvanis\u00e9 (GI) aux tuyaux en PPR sur une dur\u00e9e de vie de projet de 25 ans, les \u00e9conomies d&#039;entretien et d&#039;\u00e9nergie r\u00e9alis\u00e9es avec les tuyaux en PPR d\u00e9passent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement la diff\u00e9rence de prix initiale au cours de la premi\u00e8re d\u00e9cennie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Corrosion_and_the_%E2%80%9CRed_Water%E2%80%9D_Problem\"><\/span><strong>La corrosion et le probl\u00e8me de \u201c l\u2019eau rouge \u201d<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le rev\u00eatement de zinc des tuyaux galvanis\u00e9s prot\u00e8ge le fer sous-jacent de la rouille. Mais ce rev\u00eatement s&#039;use \u00e0 chaque joint filet\u00e9, exposant ainsi le m\u00e9tal nu \u00e0 l&#039;eau et \u00e0 l&#039;oxyg\u00e8ne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il en r\u00e9sulte une corrosion galvanique aux points de raccordement et, \u00e0 terme, une oxydation compl\u00e8te du syst\u00e8me. Les utilisateurs constatent la pr\u00e9sence d&#039;une \u201c eau rouge \u201d due aux particules de rouille. Les parois des tuyaux s&#039;amincissent avec le temps, ce qui compromet leur int\u00e9grit\u00e9 structurelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le PPR est un thermoplastique non conducteur. Il ne se corrode ni par \u00e9lectrolyse ni sous l&#039;effet de l&#039;atmosph\u00e8re. La composition chimique de l&#039;eau n&#039;a aucune incidence sur lui. Les environnements \u00e0 forte humidit\u00e9 ne l&#039;affectent pas. Les conduites d&#039;eau chaude perdent moins de chaleur \u00e0 travers la paroi. Les conduites d&#039;eau glac\u00e9e condensent moins car leur surface ext\u00e9rieure reste plus proche de la temp\u00e9rature ambiante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour les projets visant la certification LEED ou BREEAM, cette propri\u00e9t\u00e9 thermique permet de r\u00e9duire l&#039;\u00e9paisseur d&#039;isolation n\u00e9cessaire pour respecter les normes d&#039;efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique.
